The Choreography Lab — Spring Series at Armentality Movement Arts Center is a rare and intentional space created for adults ages 21 through 65, where artistry is shaped not only by technique, but by life experience, emotional intelligence, and embodied awareness.
About the Lab
Under the direction of Laura Armenta—choreographer, educator, and somatic movement specialist with over 40 years of professional experience—participants engage in a guided creative process that is both structured and exploratory.
This is not a traditional dance class. It is a creative laboratory.
A space where movement becomes language, and experience becomes material.
What You Will Explore
Participants will be guided through a refined choreographic process that integrates:
* Composition and choreographic structure
* Improvisation and movement research
* Somatic intelligence and body awareness
* Personal storytelling through movement
Each session is designed to support clarity, confidence, and the development of an authentic artistic voice.
