Armentality Movement Arts Center was founded by Mexican-born multidisciplinary artist Laura Armenta in 1998. The Armentality of today is the result of an ongoing evolution and artistic-entrepreneurial growth, having the center become one of the most relevant arts organizations in West Michigan. Our organization brings diversity and culture through in-house programs, as well as with local and regional collaborations with various organizations. Since 2016 we’ve expanded our artistic vision and support other creatives by offering space for explorations and further development.
“For the past twenty five years, I have fiercely remained dedicated to providing experiences that are empowering and transformative,
making Armentality Movement Arts Center a haven for multidisciplinary performing and holistic arts and a vivacious spot to cultivate diversity,
innovation and artistic expression. A place to find a true sense of belonging. I am quite excited to see what the future holds, and I hope you will join our community.”
