Emma Hahs


is a third-year student at Grand Valley State University, planning to graduate with her Bachelors Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology this coming April. She is from New Lenox, Illinois.
This dynamic young woman is passionate and talented, Emma is an avid reader, plays piano, and loves spending time practicing yoga. In what little free time Emma has, she also enjoys knitting.
One of Emma’s major ambitions is her research. She has worked in a genetics laboratory studying Parkinson’s Disease, Typhoid Fever, and Cerebral Palsy.
With her strong science background, Emma enjoys the stability of yoga. Practicing has always grounded her and kept her focused throughout her studies and busy schedule. She’s currently enrolled for her teaching certification and has been practicing yoga since 2012, practicing more devotedly since she came to Grand Valley in the Fall of 2015. She is familiar with PiYo, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Restorative.
In addition, Ms Hahs is focused to get her M.D. degree and become a Physician, specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
